This illustrated book discusses ways in which early childhood educators can spread the news of the success of their programs through documentation displays. It addresses: (1) the benefits of spreading program awareness; (2) the skill and art of observation and data collection to develop the "news;" (3) encouraging children to see themselves as newsworthy; (4) sharing the news with parents; (5) adult learners in the news; (6) strategies for advocacy and public awareness; and (7) tools, tips, and technology for collecting pictures, signage, and design.
