Summary:

This booklet is intended for Pennsylvania families of children with developmental delays. Detailed information is provided about early intervention, services and supports, where to start, who is eligible, individualized family service plans (IFSPs) for children birth to three; transitions, individualized education plans (IEPs) for children three to age of beginners, placement opportunities, where to go to get more information, and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act of 1997 (IDEA). A glossary of terms is included as well as a list by county of telephone numbers to access local services.
