Summary:

This packet was developed to provide support for families of children who are admitted into a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at birth and who do not speak English as their first language. The Spanish language version includes general suggestions, an informational handout prepared by Parent Care, Inc. (VA), general information on SSI (Supplemental Security Income), clothing and sewing tips, a glossary of medical terms, a vaccination schedule, and a weight conversion table from English to metric values.
